Phishing Emails

Usually phishing emails try to evoke a sense of urgency, claiming that there has been some problem that threatens to close or suspend your account, and urging you to "verify" or "update" your information right away. You can recognize some phishy emails from overseas by their spelling or grammatical errors, but many others look amazingly real. They can contain familiar images used by the actual company and genuine corporate logos, and they often originate from authentic looking email addresses. Links to spoofed Web sites that look very much like the real thing are also frequently part of phishing scams.
